It arrived with a battery that wouldn't charge. The date on the battery was 2018, the trimmer was manufactured in 2019. I called customer service and told them the trimmer arrived with a defective battery. The gentleman I spoke with told me I needed to take it to the nearest service center for a warranty repair. After bantering back and forth, he told me that's their process; I asked for a supervisor. Any reputable retailer would have swapped out the defective unit to minimize customer inconvenience. The supervisor was friendly and very apologetic. She sent me a new battery and charger, which arrived in a few days. This battery had a 2019 manufacture date and worked as it should.
